Barbara
Reininger began baking these fabulous cookies when her children were young. Having a
love of chocolate chip cookies, but not able to eat them
all, she began to give them away to friends. Her children
wanted to share with their friends too, so they created
the cookie raffle. They'd pick a name and off they'd go to deliver ‘just
because’ cookies. More than one of the happy beneficiaries
suggested that Barbara begin selling her cookies and the
rest is My Kids' Cookies history.
Barbara used to bake cookies to get her kids to do their homework. Now she's baking cookies to pay for college.
When making My Kids’ Cookies, absolutely no preservatives are added which means that our cookies should be eaten fairly quickly. But because these cookies are so good, they won’t be around for very long. They are individually wrapped and will stay fresh for approximately 7 to 9 days.
Good Works
My Kids’ Cookies is very happy to support Save the Children, an organization creating lasting change in the lives of children in need in the United States and around the world. We have sponsored a young girl in Nepal for the past 6 years. On the local level, we support Helpline House which provides a multitude of community services to Bainbridge Island residents.
