Barbara Reininger began baking these fabulous cookies when her children were young.  Having a love of chocolate chip cookies, but not able to eat them all, she began to give them away to friends.  Her children wanted to give to their friends too so they created the ‘cookie raffle’ and started delivering ‘just because’ cookies.  More than one of the happy beneficiaries suggested that Barbara begin selling her cookies and the rest is cookie history.

When making My Kids’ Cookies, absolutely no preservatives are added which means that our cookies should be eaten fairly quickly. But because these cookies are so good, they won’t be around long enough to get stale.  They are individually wrapped and will stay fresh for about two weeks.
